Brian Babin (R) TX-36 has stalled per John Conard, whose beloved nephew Jared was murdered in the mass shooting at Santa Fe High School on May 18, 2018.
The need for everyone to be armed so that the good guys can be prepared to fight off the bad guys. The TAPS Act is about promoting behavioral based threat assessment and management as a violence prevention tool that, ideally, works long before firearms are involved.
